I hid the baskets and headed to bed.
Can you spot Faith's?
Nathan's was behind Jacob's recliner.
Faith had no trouble finding her's. But it left big brother disappointed that his wasn't also sitting out, full of goodies. But soon he caught on that he had to look for it.
While he looked, Faith enjoyed checking out her basket.
She ignored the Dora book, socks & stickers, and the outside play toys. She went straight for the bunny!! This is well before she had any clue it was made out of chocolate ;-) She just thought it was a toy... hehe
Then she spotted the Dora Bubbles!!!!!!!
Man, I wish something as simple as bubbles made me so happy. hehe
There he goes - Nathan found his basket!
He loved the candy, outside play toys, Cars stickers and tattoos.
But he really loved his new red train!
After the kids were settled down with their baskets of sugar, Jacob went on a hunt for his. And, as Faith would say, "Good job, Daddy" - he found it ;-)
And SURPRISE, mommy learned that for the first time in a long tim, the Easter bunny brought her a basket, too. Well... um... the bunny forgot the basket and used one of my bowls. But that's ok ;-) I got lots of peeps (something I thought was gross until I got pregnant with Ruth... ha) and some filters for my camera that I get to learn to use - woo hoo! Thank you, Easter Bunny ;-)
We all managed to get ready for church EARLY enough to take a family photo. Thank you, Grampa for the tripod - it got good use, again, as we propped it in front of the TV and turned on a silly cartoon. And you thought I magically got al the kids to look at the camera and smile at the same time.. ha!
Oh, and that cute Easter bonnet Faith is wearing?? It's from Gramma. And this is the one and only time she wore it... cause, when we arrived at church, this is what we found....
At least she had fun with it for a half hour... ha
