Like today, Nathan was singing "happy birthday" in the playroom while making something at the play kitchen. He came in the living room, still singing, and handed Faith a plate and fork. She looked up from her book in excitement and squealed, "My cake! Thank you Nay-Nay!" And she began to eat the imaginary concoction. They can be so sweet to each other - most of the time :)
Later today, while I fed Ruth in the living room, the big kids snuck upstairs to get their blankets. Once they were back, I peeked around the corner to find this:
I guess the imaginary cake left them feeling tired after the imaginary sugar wore off. So they decided to take an imaginary nap. ha ha Don't be fooled - they had NO intention of actually napping. They just wanted to pretend :)
It never fails to make me smile when I see the things the kids come up with on their own :)
