Anyways... here are those final pictures from our week with Granny & Pa Wuenschel:
Granny, Mommy & Nathan spent a morning at the park while Daddy & Pa helped the great grandparents move into their new home!
Nathan loved the slide! And the swings, too. I didn't get a picture of the swings... a little girl (MacKenzie??) pushed Nathan. She was thrilled to see a baby and was quick to tell us that she had a baby brother at home named Nathan, too! Her mom overheard the coversation and piped in with a "there's no baby at home, at least that I know of!" Too funny! That little girl was quite the story teller :)
On the see saw with Granny!
We walked around the duck pond - and met a few feathered friends.
And they met us, too!
Then we watched the peacocks before heading back, since it was trying to rain.
But not before our walk was interupted by a Geo parade - they were actually having a Geo Cruz-In. HA HA HA Who'd have thought Geo owners would be so proud of their cars??
Saturday night Jacob & I went on a "date" to the ATV races. Wow, so romantic, huh? :)
Jacob enjoyed it! And it was cool to see. I wish he had been able to see more of the races, but we arrived late after helping the great grandparents move.
And later we got to open a "birthday" gift from Great Aunt Carrie. She told Jacob it was a little late. We all laughed when we saw the card was dated "2008" - it was meant to be a TRUE birth-day gift, hehe.
But Nathan enjoyed it MUCH more this year!! THANK YOU, GREAT AUNT CARRIE!
In fact, he loved each of the books, and couldn't decide which to chew on... I mean read... first!
