We had just left Walmart and were headed to our next stop. I had put Nathan in his car seat, but in the hurry did not forget something just as important as putting him in the car seat. We got to the traffic light when I discovered what I had not forgotten. Seat belts.
Nathan discovered that there were great papers to play with in the seat pocket behind his seat. And he wanted them. And he got them when he soon discovered how easy it was to move around in his seat while not buckled down! Unable to buckle him in from the driver's seat, I pulled over as soon as I was able, got out, and fastened him in his seat. Which he HATED. He had freedom for a few minutes. And I took it away. Evil mommy.
Thankfully God protected him inspite of his mother's failures and Nathan never fell out of his seat and was safe for the time he was unsecured in the car. And I got a few cute pics :)

He is so so cute. I want to kiss his cheeks!! You can see that he had a lot of fun. He knew he was not suppose to do that...
I've done that before with Jake. He fell asleep before he realized it though so I made it all the way home!!!
