The Taylor family's first Christmas morning together in 4 years! We all gathered together at Gramma & Grampa's house. Nathan still doesn't know what Christmas morning means, so he slept in and we all took our time gathering together in the living room to open gifts and remember the true Christmas story.

This year was Faith's first Christmas! She is still too young to even enjoy the wrapping paper. But she sure enjoyed hanging out in her Grampa's arms most of the morning!

And it was Nathan's 2nd Christmas. Last year he LOVED the wrapping paper. This year he hated it! He threw a fit when we sat down to open gifts. Maybe it was the idea of being held down and unable to have the freedom to roam and move...

But it didn't take long for him to understand what we were trying to do - open gifts and tear paper.

And soon he was absolutely loving his 2nd Christmas morning!

He enjoyed "reading" his dino book.

And Daddy got a kick out of his Chuck Norris t-shirt.

While Nathan admired all of his loot!

Including a giant stuffed dinosaur!

Faith watched all the action from Grampa's arms.

And Nathan was soon happy to play Santa. Only problem... he wanted to give his Daddy all the gifts!

Even though his Daddy looked like this!

Nathan & Faith gave their Daddy a coffee mug with their pictures - and a "We love our Daddy" message

And Uncle Dave gave Nathan the bows off his gifts.

While Auntie M tried to get her CD out of all the wrapping paper & packing tape :)

Uncle Dave got a whole bunch of seemingly random stuff from Jacob.... tennis balls... duct tape... lighter fluid... and Pringles - which Nathan was more than happy to help Uncle Dave enjoy!

Jacob even gave Uncle Dave a dirty (literally) old pipe! What?? Note to Uncle Dave... next year, if Jacob draws your name... give him some ideas. Or else you might end up with dirty old underoos instead of a dirty old PVC pipe :)

Now it all makes sense! A book on how to make things blow up in your backyard. And the first on the list... a Tennis ball morter, which requires you to duct tape pringles cans together and put them inside a 4'' PVC pipe. So that's what that thing is for!

After we opened gifts, Nathan sat in Uncle Dave's lap (now Nathan's very best friend since he wa the source of Pringles). Together, they opened his stocking.

And enjoyed a new friendship that doesn't revolved around and endless supply of potato chips!

We had a great Christmas morning and will have more fun tonight when friends come for dinner. We hope you're having a wonderful Christmas, filled with the love of family, friends and most of all - Christ. Who came down to earth, humbled as a man, yet still 100% divine, to serve and love us before dying on a cross so that we could have hope of eternal life with Him and His Father!
