Nathan is 17 months old!

My "little" boy is almost a year an a half old! A few days ago (the 9th) he turned 17 months. I meant to post this then, but for some reason I just didn't find the time...

Here are his 17 month stats, gotta write them down on the blog so one day they'll make it in his baby book!:

Weight: 31.5 lbs

Height: 34 inches
He's wearing sizes 2T-3T, with some 4Ts in there, too! And he's a toddler size 6 in shoes.

His Favorite Foods: yogurt, bananas, cantaloupe, watermelon, meatballs, pizza, green olives, pudding, cheez doodles, anything his daddy is munching on... now that I think about it... he loves EVERYTHING. Except eggs or things made with mayo. He's even gotten better at eating green beans & broccoli! In fact, the other night, he had 4 helpings of green beans! Something we had to fight him about just a month ago.

His Favorite Things: the wii remote controller, books, water, music & dancing, blocks, Elmo's World, his toothbrush, hamming it up for the camera and helping us empty the dishwasher (he actually helps). And he also loves "giving things" to his sister... like throwing wooden blocks at her head, putting his shoe in her face, jamming her bottle into her chest or her paci into her forehead, or pushing her in the swing, etc. Such a helpful little boy :) And he LOVES the toilet. He thinks it is the coolest thing ever to put stuff in it. Guess that's a good attitude for him to have at the moment, since we've just begun the process of trying to potty train him. I know, I know, most of you think we're insane. But that's for another post on another day...

Words he can say (but you probably couldn't understand them): dada, daddy, mama, yeah, yay, ball, more, done, that, again, uh oh, yum, and giraffe. And I think he's started attempting "Faith" & "teddy."

Words he can't say yet, but knows: sissy/sister, baby, lunch, more, again, cup, table, no, come, pull, put, go, cat/kitty, teddy, bottle, pudding, nose, mouth, kiss, trashcan, diaper, shoe, up, nap, night-night, give me five, close the door... I'm sure there are tons more that just aren't coming to mind. Strangely, I don't think he knows the word "bath" even though he loves it. But he amazes us everyday with how much he knows and how fast he is learning!
