Uncle Jr & Cousin Pete

Nathan met his Uncle Jr for the first time this week! And cousin Pete came along for the drive up from Louisiana, too. We're so glad we got to spend a couple days with them! Nathan will have lots to learn from his Uncle in the years to come - plenty of wrestling moves! And, at the rate Nathan is growing, he may just be good competition for Uncle Jr one day, too! Here are some pictures from their time together:

This is actually a pretty big smile for Jr. I think he enjoyed holding his nephew - there's no doubt he loves him! And no doubt Nathan loves Jr!

Nathan tried to wrestle his Uncle Jr down. But cousin Pete was awefully protective of his owner!

Nathan meets cousin Pete. He enjoyed watching the big dog. But the feeling wasn't mutual so much. I don't think Pete is use to babies....

Cousin Pete tried on the jingle bell wreath...

Nathan did, too! Nathan loved to hear it jingle - we later took off the ribbon & holly so he could enjoy the wreath in a safer way.

Nathan adores his giant cow from Uncle Jr! When he outgrows the Nursery, we'll have to make him a farm themed bedroom - so his little sister/brother can have the jungle themed nursery... :) No... There's no sibling coming any time soon.

We can't forget the cherry pie (#2). Uncle Jr takes his cherry pie seriously. But now that Nathan has had a taste... he might have to wrestle Nathan for the last piece next Christmas!

It was so great to see you, Uncle Jr! Nathan can't wait to get to know you better as he grows. Thank you for driving up and being such an awesome uncle!
