Faith is taking more and more interest in "helping" her baby sister. The other day, after Ruth finished eating, I set her in the exersaucer and went to throw out her dirty diaper. I returned to see Faith trying to feed Ruth the recently emptied bottle.
Ruth is a really good eater. 6oz is all she wants in one sitting. But she still loves to have things in her mouth! So she was all about letting Faith "feed" her.
Except Faith wasn't so skilled at the task...
When the bottle wasn't getting jammed into Ruth's mouth (Faith was gentle, she was just too close...)
When it wasn't too close... it was too far away...
Or it was wiggling too fast for poor Ruth to try to catch.
I like this look, above. It's as though Ruth's saying "Mom, she doesn't get it!"
But Faith still kept trying! And Ruth was so patient with her.
Finally, Mommy stepped in and traded the bottle for a teething toy that Ruth could hold herself :)
