Mashed Potatoes

I remember when Nathan was 1, asking friends if it was normal for kids to have a bath after every meal. I think Faith has reached that stage!

The other night we had meatloaf, green beans & mashed potatoes for dinner. She ate some of everything - and loved it all. Instead of spoon feeding her, I gave myself a break and let her feed herself. I knew it would mean cleaning up a mess... but I didn't think it would get this messy. I know... I know... what was I thinking? Obviously I wasn't! But Faith LOVED feeding herself, and particularly loved the mashed potatoes!

I think it's about time to say good bye to pureed baby food and hello to all things table food. And now that she has a few upper teeth, she can handle more table foods! My little girl is growing so fast!
