Standing Tall!

Faith has been getting better and better at standing on her own. Last week she started standing for up to 30 seconds at a time - sometimes bending her knees and straightening them again while standing!! And then she started standing in the middle of the room, without using a toy to help he get up.

She's so very close to walking! In fact, this past Wednesday, she took her first step without assistance - but then fell into my arms as soon as she took the step. We're hoping Auntie M (who is visiting for the weekend) will get to witness Faith's first attempt at walking.

Before long she'll be walking good. Then I'm in trouble... she gets around too well just as a crawler - nothing will stop our little wiggle worm once she gets walking down!

"Yay for me! I'm so tall and cute!"

When she's not standing on her own, she only needs a little bit of support.

Even when she's walking with the help of a toy - she's usually one-handed!

And she often has a toy in her free hand, to chew on as she walks, too!

I can't wait to see her really walk - and share that with you all :)
