Sunday Surprise

Sunday, after church, we found out Jacob's Aunt Mary Beth and her husband, Cliff, we're headed our direction. They were coming to visit Stacy, one of Jacob's father's mother's daughter's children. Do ya follow? lol She's Aunt Mary Beth's cousin, or Jacob's cousin once removed (thanks for the lesson on "once removed vs. 2nd cousins" Uncle Carl - it came in handy this weekend!)

Anyways, Stacy was in town, from Rhode Island, for a conference. And Aunt Mary Beth and Cliff live just a few hours away. When we found out they were all in town, we invited them over for dinner and a visit! It was great to meet Stacy and see Aunt Mary Beth & Cliff - last time we saw them was a Sara's wedding, when I was 5 months pregnant with Nathan. He's grown a bit since then ;-)

Here's Faith hanging out with her Great Aunt Mary Beth, in the dress Great Aunt Mary Beth sent her when she was a newborn - it's a handmade dress she got at an orphanage in Mexico. It's one of my favorite dresses to put Faith in, and after her wild growth spurt the last 2 weeks, I was so glad it still fit for this occassion - so Aunt Mary beth could see her in it, first hand, too.

After covering herself in lasagna, getting a bath and changing into PJs, Faith discovered Great Aunt Mary Beth's shiny sparkly shoes... oooh.... pretty.... shiny... sparkly... must eat... LOL

After dinner, good conversations, silly kid-antics and catching up a bit, we took a photo of everyone - minus me ;-) And I'm still amazed - EVERYone is looking at the camera - and smiling, too!
