Back to Work

Last week we got the opportunity to join Jacob at his new office - for lunch. It was the first time the kids or I had been by the office to see where Daddy works. It's a lot bigger than his old office... and since he's no longer doing geotechnical engineering, it's a lot cleaner, too ;-)

We came by and brought a pizza with us to enjoy for lunch - even Faith got to sit at the "big kids table" with us in the break room. No high chairs in Daddy's office's break room... hmm... guess there aren't many babies that work there ;-)

I think Daddy and Faith were both glad to see each other in the middle of the day :)

And Nathan enjoyed checking out Daddy's workstation, while wearing Daddy's hat, too!

It was fun to see where Jacob works, meet a few co-workers and have a great excuse to visit him in the middle of the day. Even better, it's great to see how God opened so many doors, at just the right time, to get Jacob this job - one he loves & that loves him; a job that Jacob finds challenging and interesting, and one that has lots of room for growth. Our God is the great provider!
