Sharpie

Monday morning, I turned from what I was doing to find out why the kids were so quiet... they had to be up to no good. Sure enough, Nathan was sitting in the corner. With a sharpie. Decorating his legs....

I took the sharpie away from him, scolded him, and glanced over to make sure Faith was ok - she was playing contently with some toys. Then I checked to see what else Nathan had scribbled on.

My cell phone. Yes, my new cell phone is now covered, front & back, with black sharpie scribbles. And no, I don't have a black phone... it had been red. Nailpolish remover too it off the screen - but won't touch the other areas... Any ideas of what else to try that won't ruin the surface of the phone?...

Well, I went back to what I was doing before catching Nathan with the sharpie. And then turned to sit on the couch for a moment when my little princess pulled herself up on the arm of the couch to greet me with a giant smile. And that's when I saw...

My cell phone wasn't the only other victim of Nathan's creative exploration. Poor Faith. At least it didn't stop her from being so joyful :)
