Choo Choo

Friday was Nathan's 2nd birthday, and we were surprised with a package from Uncle Dave! Nathan was eager to open it up and find out what was inside. I got it all on video - and you can watch that below, but for those of you without ability to watch videos, here are some pictures!

Nathan got his first RC toy - a radio controlled train!

He also got some wooden puzzles - the train puzzle makes a choo choo sound when you finish it. I'll let you guess what we do 100 times a day... yes... finish that puzzle. lol

Nathan didn't know that his new train was remote controlled yet - not until Saturday. But he was estatic with it as it was - pushed it around all over the house and listened to it's whistle blow. He often "drives" it around while making the "choo choo" noise himself.

Yes... he says "Choo Choo" now, too... and still no "Ma ma"! Well... maybe a couple times a week. Poor momma... At least Faith says Mama all the time - thats one of only 2 sounds she can make. The other being Baba. At least one kid knows my name... hehe

Saturday we got a battery for the remote and Jacob showed Nathan how the train works remotely. He LOVES it and is slowly getting the hang of how to drive it around the room, run over his mother's toes, and keep it moving faster than his train-chasing baby sister!

Choo Choo!

When Nathan's birthday package from his Uncle Dave arrived, I think he knew it was for him. Although he probably thinks everything is for him... but anyways, his first reaction to seeing the box on our porch was "Whoa!". So I knew I had to get him opening that box on video - because his "Whoa"s are awefully cute - and becaue I knew Uncle Dave (and everyone else) would love to hear them, too :) So here's a video of Nathan opening his gifts from Uncle David. Remember, if you're viewing this blog post via email, you need to go to the website to watch the video. On that note... if you're not on the email list or know someone who wants to be that isn't, Email Me to get on that list!
