Saturday was the end of a very hot week - where the heat index was often close to 110 degrees. We're finally starting to feel the Texas heat... So to cool off, we headed out to the dollar store and picked up some cheap water guns for Daddy & Nathan.
But then Daddy cheated - and pulled out his big boy super soaker!Nathan thought that was pretty cool!
So Daddy taught Nathan how to use the super soaker.
And Nathan had a grand time shooting it at Mommy,
who was left to defend herself with just a dollar store water gun...!
So Mommy got out the bucket!
I was unsure of how Nathan would react to it...
But he thought it was awesome!
And kept asking for more.
Even Faith enjoyed the water war.
She giggled with delight when she was shot!
But the favorite of the day was turning the
red wagon into a portable swimming pool!
They loved splashing in it, sitting in it,
and even riding to the mailbox in it!
